How Bria pauses…
Bria came home from the University of Iowa in 2020 due to the pandemic. During that time she was using a lot of candles, and she said “I noticed I was having a hard time breathing due to the synthetic fragrances and parabens, which trigged me to have severe asthma attacks. After many hours of research and studying the alarming ingredients found in candles, I decided to use the knowledge I obtained while managing my parent’s health & wellness store, and set off to make my own non-toxic candles that overall helped my health, and purified the air when lit.”
When asked how she pauses, Bria said she journals, takes baths, does self-care, yoga and meditation. All of these activities help her to feel reset. “Taking some time from my busy day to check in with myself and how I am feeling makes me feel like I am present and not focused on the past or future and allowing things to flow.”
